My name is Lydia Manchurek and I’m in the behaviour cognition and neuroscience program. I’m very excited to be working under Dr. Romero as I investigate memory performance and it’s relation to rumination in older adults. Through attending previous lab meetings and presentations done by past thesis students, I was able to get an idea of what working in this lab would be like and decided it was a great fit for me. Over the next year, I hope to further my understanding and appreciation of the intriguing world of cognition.
