
EMMA HYNES
Graduate Student (Co-supervised with Renée Biss)
Emma is originally from Summerside, Prince Edward Island, and earned her BSc in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick in 2024. She will be joining the Clinical Neuropsychology graduate program at the University of Windsor in Fall 2025, co-supervised by Dr. Renée Biss and Dr. Kristoffer Romero. Emma’s research interests center on the cognitive and neural mechanisms that shape the trajectory of cognitive aging across healthy and neurodegenerative populations, with a particular interest in MCI and dementia. She aims to contribute to the development of early diagnostic tools and interventions that support independence and quality of life in older adults. In her spare time, she enjoys catching up with friends, traveling, and skating.
