VANESSA CORREIA
Clinical Neuropsychology Graduate Student
Vanessa graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, with an honours degree in psychology. After working in research and healthcare for several years, she is delighted to begin her graduate studies in clinical neuropsychology under the mentorship of Dr. Kristoffer Romero.
She is interested in conducting research on neurodegenerative diseases, healthy cognitive aging, and the
the clinical presentation and neural underpinnings of both subjective and objective cognitive impairments. Vanessa also wishes to engage in knowledge translation and the development of neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitative tools that better serve diverse clinical populations.
In the future, she aspires to provide assessment and therapy to support individuals' cognitive and emotional well-being. Outside of the lab, Vanessa enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and reading.
