MAKENZIE LAUZON
Master's in Social Work Student / Research Assistant
Makenzie is a first-year MSW student at the University of Windsor. She is a recent graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work at the University of Ottawa, during which she completed an undergraduate thesis examining the neuroprotective potential of selective GPER agonist G-1 in ovariectomized Wistar rats exposed to global cerebral ischemia. Her current research interests include memory, cognitive functioning, and neurodegenerative disorders. She aspires to one day pursue a graduate degree in clinical neuropsychology.
